Use a cotton ball first inside the ear to soak up any excess water or fluids and then apply basil, lavender and melaleuca (tea tree) oils to help it drain and function properly. Please remember, essential oils should not be dropped inside of the ear. Instead, apply the oil in the front and back of the ears. (Think, sideburn area and the bump behind your ear). You can also take a cotton ball and put a few drops of oil on it and place that inside of the ear, or take a cotton Q-Tip, place a drop of essential oil on it and lightly brushing slightly inside the ear.
